Stinky Car, tried everything... Help?

I accidentally left a watermellon in the front seat of my husbands car for about 12 hours. It was very hot outside and somehow the watermellon leaked all over the seat. It smells gross three months later. I have cleaned it with vinager, baking soda, Downy, upolstry cleaner, put charcoal under the seat, sprayed whole cans of air freshener, citrus spray, Ozone, and others... The car will smell good for a day or two until the fragrance fades then that nasty rotten watermellon smell is back. Does anyone have any suggestions. We took the seat out, cleaned with vinager and cleaned the carpet but it just will not go away.

Don't buy a new seat until you have tried this remove the seat from the car and really clean it. Saturate the seat with upholstery cleaner then use a garden hose and wash it till water runs out the bottom of seat /clear water.. The trouble is the juice penetrated all the way through the padding on the seat and it is trapped inside the foam padding. You are only getting the surface with what you tried. My son hosed out his entire car with the above method to get rid of spoiled milk smell. You can use plain vinegar and water but that may smell about as bad as the watermelon. Let the seat completely dry before putting it back in the car may take a few days. Also there is a product called odor be gone I buy at walmart. I would try this method before buying a new seat. Because you cant hurt it if you are replacing it any way with a new one. I think if you do this you wont have to replace the seat. Just make sure the cleaner soaks into seat then really use a lot of water and wash the juice completely out of the seat.
